                  Welcome to Writers Who Run in The Road to Literacy Tour. It's going to be an epic 150 miles!

                  Your participation in this race will benefit the Greenville Literacy Association (GLA), a nonprofit in Greenville, SC. Together we are fighting against worldwide illiteracy, one person at a time.

                  As you reach important milestones along the route, you'll trigger a fun email containing 5 virtual book covers. All the books we have selected are either by NC authors, set in NC or SC, or are about running.

                  At any point during the race you or your friends can support to the GLA. Literacy affects people's dreams. Let's help them soar!

                  General Racery Rules:

                  1. No step counting!
                  2. Please don’t upload mileage in bulk! This affects race stats. Any backdated mileage should be attributed to the appropriate day using the Log Miles tab.
                  3. Please only backdate mileage for a race up to two weeks in the past.
                  4. Only mileage added before the race officially closes on August 8 at 23:59:59 will count in the race leaderboards.
